Bitcasters again!

I'm working for Bitcasters again (Social Game Universe now, I guess). I feel kinda good about this one, I get to do layout, prop and character designs for some new game that they're pitching I don't really know anything about it other than I have to draw the inside of a building.

I'm working with Ola again, she's a wonderful person, very amusing.

Brad has informed me that I'm applying to Elliot tomorrow. Seems like a good plan. I need to make a list... oh hey! A blog! My blog!

Pirates vs. Ninjas

A quick leica for a short involving Pirates and Ninjas fighting to the death.

I was bored, thank goodness I don't have a gun, I might have shot a happy face into the wall. Too much Sherlock mixed with unemployment can be bad for a person. "I see you're using a tea cozy, this must mean you faked the painting and shot your lover's sister... what? Isn't it obvious to everyone?"

Loading a video takes time... Time involves thinking, thinking causes typing and I really think I'm typing too much.

*sigh* I miss Toronto... I never thought I'd miss Toronto.

I really shouldn't have gotten my hopes up with that Tecmo job. I can't believe they didn't hire ANYone. That was a huge waste of time... and money... that I don't have... because I'm unemployed... possibly because someone got my hopes up. I think that was me. What a prat. I like British television, thus far it's been way better than anything coming out of American studios. I can't remember the last time I watched a good cartoon either. Games, though. I quite liked Starcraft II. I'd have liked it better if it wasn't just a 3rd of the game though... I wanted to play the Zerg. I luff da Zerg! Although I died horribly playing Zerg on muti-player... I'm such a positive person. Wow... my free-thought writing is laaaame.

Am I going to keep typing everything I think until this video uploads? Probably... Muffin... she's probably at the door... I don't want to check... maybe I should...

Wow, 20 seconds... that's actually kind of long for her. She wasn't at the door but she was in 20 seconds... I'll have to time her next time... I'm sure she usually does it faster... probably 'cause I've been ignoring her all day. And now she's growling.

I'll go do that then.

Well... I've recently redone my demo, as seen at the top of the page (or the link on main page if this is being viewed from my flavours page/samsmith.ca). I got my files from Ubisoft, yey! So that's all in my Vimeo folders, seen here: http://vimeo.com/skamartist

I'm heading to Nova Scotia for a brief while to update my portfolio and get some fresh air. Perhaps see the buskers, cuddle my puppy, dance naked on rooftops, you know the usual.

And in August, I will be back on the job search. Hazzah! Jobs. Need em. Please...
